Thanks for your help on this, Joel. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you were able to track the Flash in an app or a was it Flash on the profile page using the asynchronous call?

Your correct FB doesn’t support Google Analytic on the Profile page. The best we have seen done with Flash is to have it react to a click event and make a asynchronous call to do the tracking itself. This sucks because you only get tracking of direct interaction with your apps profiles view

Hi Joel,

I have a question about tracking on a Facebook profile page. I’m working with a client who wants to put Flash videos on their page. Can they be tracked using GA or do we run into the-cached-onto-Facebook’s-server-issue you mentioned in the post that keeps us from tracking this? Thanks
